This Privacy Policy describes how Debt Escape collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the Debt Escape mobile application and related services.
Information We Collect
Debt Escape may collect and store the following categories of information that you choose to provide:
- Profile information such as your display name and selected avatar.
- Anonymous account and session information required to keep your app data connected to your device session.
- Financial information you enter into the app, including debts, transactions, income, expenses, and settings.
- Authentication and session information required to keep your account signed in securely.
How We Use Information
- To create, maintain, and secure your account.
- To save, sync, and restore your financial planning data across app sessions.
- To provide app features, including payoff tracking, budgeting, and profile settings.
- To monitor, troubleshoot, and improve app stability, security, and service reliability.
How Information Is Stored
Debt Escape uses Supabase as a backend service provider for account and cloud data storage. On supported devices, the app stores sensitive local session and app data using encrypted on-device storage. Information may also be processed temporarily in memory while the app is in use.
Data Sharing
Debt Escape does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers that are reasonably necessary to operate the app, such as Supabase for authentication and database services.
Data Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app and maintain your account, unless you request deletion or applicable law requires otherwise.
Your Choices
- You may edit financial records and profile details from within the app.
- You may delete your anonymous account from within the app to permanently remove synced profile and financial data and start fresh.
- You may contact support if you have a privacy-related question or data request.
Children's Privacy
Debt Escape is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
